Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a background in construction to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing HVAC and MEP systems installation for commercial building, hotels, resorts, and luxury construction projects. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects by providing technical expertise, leadership, and innovative solutions in the mechanical engineering discipline. Key Responsibilities: 1.Mechanical System Oversight: Lead the installation and construction of HVAC and MEP systems for a variety of commercial building, hotels, resorts, and luxury construction projects. Ensure that systems are installed efficiently, sustainably, and in compliance with local codes and regulations. 2.Project Management: Take ownership of mechanical engineering aspects during the construction phase, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure project success. 3.Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to construction teams and subcontractors. Oversee the implementation of engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations. 4.Innovation and Sustainability: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable practices in mechanical engineering. Incorporate innovative solutions and energy-efficient practices into construction projects. 5.Client Interaction: Establish and maintain strong client relationships by actively engaging in project meetings, addressing client needs, and ensuring client satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor on mechanical engineering matters during construction. 6.Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality standards are met during construction. Conduct quality checks and inspections to guarantee system performance and compliance with design intent. 7.Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to mechanical systems installation and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address any issues that may impact project timelines or budgets. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry for commercial building, hotels, resorts, and luxury construction projects. - Proficiency in overseeing HVAC and MEP system installation. - Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards. - Experience working with construction teams and subcontractors. - Excellent project management and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead by example. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. - Commitment to sustainability and innovative engineering practices within the construction field.
