Summary Determines overall support requirements, including facilities, personnel, safety, and maintenance. Directs and coordinates program activities designed to ensure effective and economical support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitors each task and keeps leadership abreast of all problems and accomplishments. Determines overall support requirements, including facilities, personnel, safety and maintenance. Directs and coordinates program activities designed to ensure effective economical support. Reports in writing and orally to contractor management and government representatives Serves as technical authority for various functional areas. Ensures tasks are completed within estimated time frames and budget constraints. Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates. Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise Host Nation plan. Prepares and approves appropriate training. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance. In order to obtain a secret clearance, qualified candidates must have US Citizenship. Ability to pass physical screening requirements
Education and/or Experience
Bachelors’ Degree from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. . At least ten (10) years’ logistics experience is required. At least five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory role. Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry is strongly desired. PMP is preferred.
Work Conditions
Position is located OCONUS and in an austere environment; work is being performed on the flight line, limited hangar or aviation field environment.
