Title:
Location – Erbil, Iraq – 12 weeks on/3 weeks off
Duration – 5 years + 2 – Facilities Management Operations (FMO)
Please note applicants just be a UK National with a 5-10 year footprint in the UK in order to obtain the relevant security clearance required for this role.
Please note this is not a tax-free assignment and you will be subject to UK tax for the duration of the assignment.
The Role
KBR is operating as well as maintenance services for existing infrastructure assets across MOD’s operational estates in Erbil, Iraq.
Responsibilities
Carry out and complete response maintenance works
Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act
Ensure compliance with Theatre safe systems of work
Experience in building systems and maintenance tasks
Complete PPM reports, logbooks, response maintenance reports, and all paperwork related to tasks such as risk assessments and material requests
What We Need
Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship in a carpentry discipline
Experience working with all aspects of the trade
Must demonstrate a good understanding of UK health and safety legislation, with the ability to carry out risk assessments and propose actions for risk control/management
Desirable:
Experience working in challenging remote locations or developing countries
Hold a full driver’s license
