IT system Engineer

We seek an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our team in Najaf, Iraq. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all systems, troubleshoot and resolve any issues, and provide technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain the company's IT systems and infrastructure.
2. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or outages that occur, minimizing downtime.
4. Provide technical support to end-users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
6. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in IT systems engineering.
3. Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including Active directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.
4. Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or OLVM.
5. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or VCP are a plus.
