Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux System Administrator to join our IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems management and virtualization, with a focus on maintaining the performance, security, and reliability of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and operate Linux environments and equipment to ensure high performance and reliability. Implement, maintain, and support Linux systems and servers across various locations within and outside Iraq. Provide immediate support for Linux systems and servers to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate with various departments to resolve system-related issues. Perform regular maintenance, upgrade systems, and oversee server health. Design, deploy, and manage data storage systems and backups. Participate in preparing maintenance contracts and technical studies as directed. Conduct repairs and installations for malfunctioning equipment, systems, or servers. Provide regular reports to the direct supervisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of
3 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration and virtualization.
