PENDING CONTRACT AWARD
SUMMARY
The Maintenance Dock Supervisor plans and directs maintenance operations and ensures policy and procedures are followed to achieve established goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and assign program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts of workers performing aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modifications. Maintain knowledge of supply procedures, and Service Bulletins/Letters and Airworthiness Directives. Must be highly proficient in using technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs. Must have knowledge of F-16 aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls and modifies aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards. Candidate must be knowledgeable in F-16 aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, disassembly, reassembly, rigging and aircraft movement. Must be able to read and speak English. Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The below additional requirements apply to this position.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have 6 to 8 years of related aircraft experience on various aircraft systems operation to include landing gear, flight controls, disassembly, re-assembly, rigging, aircraft ground operations and the flight line environment with a minimum of 5 years recent experience on F-16 10 years of supervisory experience is preferred. Must possess a Common Access Card (CAC) or be eligible to receive one
Desired Skills:
F-16 Crew Chief Experience USAF level 7 or higher Current or previous F-16 Engine Run Qualification F-16 Mod or Depot Experience Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Work Conditions
Position is located OCONUS and in an austere environment; work is being performed on the flight line, limited hangar or aviation field environment.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and parts, tooling and other awkward items sometimes weighing greater than 50 lbs, including up and down stairs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday. Must be able to see and hear, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
