We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Zuora Developer with in-depth experience in Zuora’s subscription billing and payment solutions to join our dynamic team at Pure Storage. As a Senior Zuora Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing complex workflows, integrating systems, and optimizing our subscription and billing processes. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in Zuora development, along with a thorough understanding of Zuora’s various modules, APIs, and integrations with systems like Salesforce and Netsuite.
Responsibilities:- Zuora Development & Workflow Design: Design and implement workflows in Zuora, utilizing advanced processes like Lambda functions, object queries, and liquid-based operations to handle complex data and streamline billing solutions.
- Order Harmonization Expertise: Lead and manage the transition from Zuora Subscription Billing to the Zuora Order Harmonization model, including API changes, to ensure seamless integration and process optimization.
- System Integrations: Integrate Zuora with Salesforce, Netsuite, and other systems, leveraging Zuora 360 Sync to ensure data consistency and operational efficiency across platforms.
- Customization & Configuration: Customize and configure Zuora using the Zuora API, ZOQL, and other tools to meet unique business needs. Work extensively with Zuora Product Catalog, workflows, security settings, notifications, and invoice templates.
- Platform Administration: Maintain a thorough understanding of the Zuora platform, including Zuora Admin, object structures, workflows, and API configurations, and provide recommendations for platform improvements.
- Business Solutions & Problem-Solving: Translate complex business challenges into efficient technical solutions using Zuora’s out-of-the-box capabilities and advanced configuration options.
- Template & Profile Management: Design and build various templates such as invoice and email templates and manage communication profiles to support our subscription management processes.
- Subscription Lifecycle Management: Support subscription management activities, including handling amendments, renewals, and other modifications to ensure accurate customer billing.
- Role-Based Security & Reporting: Configure roles and permissions, maintain data security, and create comprehensive reports using the Zuora reporting module to support business analysis and compliance.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide training and technical guidance to other team members on Zuora functionalities, API usage, and best practices for integrations.
Qualifications:- Experience: 5+ years of focused experience in Zuora, particularly in subscription billing and payment solutions, with a solid track record in Zuora development.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Zuora APIs, ZOQL, and advanced Zuora development, including workflows, product catalogs, security, notifications, and templates.
- Zuora Order Harmonization: Strong experience with Zuora Order Harmonization, especially in transitioning from Zuora Subscription Billing, and understanding API changes.
- System Integration: Proven expertise in integrating Zuora with Salesforce and ERP systems, and configuring Zuora 360 Sync.
- Certifications: Zuora Admin and Architect certifications are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Billing Operations: Comprehensive understanding of billing operations and subscription lifecycle management.
- APIs & Callouts: Proficient in Zuora REST APIs, callouts, and data export techniques.
- Additional Skills: Basic knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ, and ERP systems; experience in finance, accounting, or order-to-cash solutions; knowledge of Zuora order metrics and revenue recognition.
Preferred Qualifications:- Salesforce & CPQ Knowledge: Basic knowledge or experience with Salesforce and CPQ solutions is a plus.
- ERP Systems & Finance Experience: Familiarity with ERP systems, order-to-cash processes, finance, and accounting implementations is advantageous.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
