About this roleJob purpose | BackgroundReporting to the India Head of Workplace Experience, this position is responsible for coordination of workplace experience activities within Gurgaon. This position must ensure business needs are understood, and appropriate best value solutions are delivered to internal clients and stakeholders, while also ensuring that global/local/regional Workplace Experience policies, standards, and procedures are socialized and implemented within their location. Concurrently, this resource is expected to proactively identify opportunities for change and develop business cases for implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery of Workplace Experience: To work with stakeholders and internal clients in the development, management, and implementation of strategic Global/ Regional/ Local Initiatives for Gurgaon.Collaboration with Local/ Regional Functions: Work with Local and Regional functional leads to ensure programs and projects are successfully delivered and implemented. On a day-to-day basis, partner with Local/ Regional functions to deliver exceptional service to internal clients and stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to local, practical resolution of issues based on an agreed collaborative model; escalation for resolution when necessary; and support of functional resolution.Team Leadership and People Development: Is responsible for driving a high-performance culture; leading and developing a One-BlackRock focused site team (including but not limited to full time & outsourced vendor staff), exemplifying BlackRock, and Workplace Experience core principles. This individual will build and manage an inclusive & diverse team grounded in BlackRock’s principles, with responsibility for developing direct reports.Financial and Risk Management: Must focus on operational, financial, and reputational risk, managing activities to meet defined metrics. Provide consistent oversight and management of established financial objectives. Lead the development of annual site budgets to achieve financial targets and provide supervision to ensure targets are met. Vendor Management: Is responsible for developing and maintaining supplier relationships, for their location. Additionally, is responsible for escalating functional supplier issues appropriately, in a timely manner. Is expected to participate in supplier QBRs (or other regular contract reviews); and is further expected to monitor performance against contract terms, i.e., KPIs and SLAs.Projects and Program Management: Will support Hub lead in overseeing local projects in collaboration with regional and global functional organizations.Sustainability: Is responsible for their site’s impact on the environment, supporting local activities as well as participating in global initiatives.Specific skillsBusiness managementDemonstrated financial literacySuccessful in developing, managing, and tracking budget performanceTrack record of managing/supporting sites independentlyWorking knowledge of travel management issuesDemonstrate working knowledge of projects, lease understandingWorking knowledge to develop SOW, SLA & KPI’sWorking knowledge of Health & Safety requirementsExperience of working with Business Continuity and Corporate SecurityExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishProficient in the use of computer applications, including IWMS, data analysis tools including spreadsheets for financial analysis, etc.High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyCompetencies Should have at least 13-16 years of industry experience, at least 2 years should be of an independent site responsibility.Results Oriented: Must operate in time bound action plans in all areas of responsibility and must ensure that deliverables are met according to schedule.Leadership and Influencing skills: Must be comfortable working in a matrix organization, with a strong focus on collaboration combined with interpersonal skills and the ability to influence outcomesStrong emotional intelligenceQualifications FMP or equivalent.Hotel Management/ Graduate University background preferred.Client service experience required.Our benefitsTo help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.Our hybrid work modelBlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
