Key Responsibility :
Responsible for managing and realization of Windows and Virtualization solutions
Manage, maintain, support and recovery of Windows Servers, Services and VMware systems and services such as vSphere, vSAN and App Volumes for the end users
High level of technical expertise to support complex Windows and virtualization solutions across all tiers, under minimal supervision
Work independently, providing On-site/Offshore support for Infra/data center design, optimization or buildout
Handle Windows Active Directory Services, VMware related backups and restoration request such as Snapshots, templates, etc.
Handling of requests or issues related to VMware vRealize products, Log Insights, Ops Manager.
Evaluate Technology trends and Market trends and bring in Industry best practices
Design, evaluate the Architecture and develop governance model on basis of Organization IT strategies
Responsible for the development of all RFI and RFP documents required for bid leveling
Manage client expectations throughout the project regarding scope, budget, billing, schedules and time frames
Conduct meetings according to the scope of the project including Deployments, technology and management meetings
Analyze gaps between current and target state operating capabilities for the Virtualization environment
Identify Business requirements with context to external and internal factors and support in Technical Architecture establishment
Provide high level consultation support on Virtualization design and setup for Team members wherever required
Provide high level consultation support on Datacenter establishment and management
Developing and implementing IT policies and best practicesSkill Set :
5-6 years of Infra experience in a comparable position experience in IT Industry managing complete Windows and virtualization services for customers in a large scale
Hands on experience on preparation of Proof of concept for VMware, Hyper-V and any other Hypervisor Technologies
Good Knowledge on overall IT Infra including Datacentre Services
Good knowledge on Backup Services, Cloud Services and Application working model for IT Infra and Virtualization Services
Experience with Data center design and build
Good understanding on ITSM ticketing process and hold knowledge on ITIL V4 concepts
Good Team management and communication skills
Very good written and spoken skills
Preferred VMware/IT Infra certifications
Willing to work in shifts based on client/project requirements
BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)
