الوصف الوظيفي

LSEG Academy is a global team of educators dedicated to providing enriching learning experiences for LSEG's customers. As part of a broader Customer Success function, our programs are designed to enhance proficiency in LSEG's products and solutions, while also offering educational opportunities in market and industry topics. All learning is hosted through the LSEG Learning Centre and our flagship products, LSEG Workspace and LSEG World-Check One.

We’re looking for an expert web publisher, with ambitions to be a Content Management System (CMS) expert, to join our Team.

As Web Publisher you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our customer front-end Learning Centre experience, using primarily Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role is responsible for the creation, editing and release process of all relevant web pages from start to finish, ensuring accuracy of page layout, copy and functionality across the environment. You will know how to get the best out of our CMS platform, and use that expertise in partnership with technology teams, educators, content writers, designers and UX to build pages that delight our customers and ultimately help drive revenue. You will implement day-to-day tasks and projects within AEM: selecting templates, components and modules, adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to deliver web experiences based on brand guidelines and customer input.

Quality assurance and an excellent customer experience will be at the heart of everything you do. You will be part of our learning platform technology team and work multi-functionally with members of our learning team, product organisation and marketing teams to deliver flawless, high-quality experiences.

Job Description:

This role will be primarily focused on supporting our existing Learning Centre front end web portal using AEM.

In a typical day you might find yourself working on requests to update any of our live customer facing pages. Some of these requests will be urgent and require a same-day or even same-hour turnaround. Other requests will be project based, worked on over several weeks and involve engaging with colleagues from other teams such as Academy leads, development, UX, design, digital strategy and marketing.

You’ll be working with content owners, and you’ll be viewed as an expert in your field. Our web publishers don’t just action requests, they understand the business requirements and use their experience to make recommendations and apply standard process.

You will support our wider technical teams and be embedded in the release process across multiple environments, authoring new components and helping to test new functionality. You will be an important team member in larger projects, with the chance to join sprint planning and demos to get an in-depth understanding of new features being developed.

You’ll stay connected with your web publishing peers around the world via Teams chat and regular meetings. And you’ll join wider team and group calls to keep you informed.

  • Responsible for content strategy and AEM authoring, driving day-to-day tasks and projects within AEM: selecting templates, components and modules, adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to compose web pages based on brand guidelines and customer input.

  • Providing AEM authoring support for fortnightly UAT release process, across environments.

  • Help define authoring release process and best practise for the Academy with a solid focus on quality and customer experience. Liaising with wider LSEG publishing teams to align practises.

  • Support development of new website functionality and creating experience fragments, developing workflows, providing detailed authoring documentation as well as training for peers and authors.

  • Work as part of a multi-functional, globally distributed team, supporting multiple stakeholders to meet the goals of the organisation.

Crucial skills

  • At least two years’ experience using the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to maintain and update customer-facing websites.

  • Strong verbal and written English-language communication and influencing skills with experience working for an international organisation where the business language is English.

  • Attention to detail, a passion to deliver best-practice publishing and an appreciation of how that contributes towards web site performance.

  • Comfortable running multiple projects simultaneously, often to timelines, and prioritising based on business priorities.

  • Experience working directly with business owners. Not just taking instructions but recommending solutions and best-practice.

  • Solid problem-solving skills: ability to work independently and adapt to changing project needs.

  • Comfortable juggling multiple, concurrent projects with tight deadlines.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

  • Rapidly adapt to new information and skills.

  • Self-motivated, responsive and dedicated to driving success.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience running a web publishing project from start to finish with minimal direction.

  • An understanding and curiosity about website accessibility.

  • An understanding of how web publishing practices impact search engine optimisation (SEO).

  • QA testing experience of web pages or site enhancements or bug fixes.

  • Experience with personalization using Adobe Target.

  • Agile training/experience!

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS or JavaScript!
