We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President - Product Manager 


Business: HSBC Global Asset Management


Principal responsibilities


  • Working with relevant teams (product development, legal, compliance, investment etc) to update and manage the assigned prospectus documentation, driving and supporting the implementation of regulatory changes. 
  • To manage new product inclusions and product changes within the prospectus documentation.
  • Produce or assist in the production of ancillary documentation such as Shareholder notices, regulatory submissions with the external legal counsel, downstream KIIDs/KIDs.
  • To log and track changes and communicate changes to a broad range of stakeholders within and outside the Asset Management Own assigned platforms from a governance perspective, working with Cosec, Fund Boards to fulfil all the regulatory obligations associated with management of Board meetings, financial statement production, regulatory filings etc.
  • Assist in any governance related approvals and provide recommendations to enhance processes
  • Work on and execute initiatives to streamline processes, either through technology or offshoring, resulting in improving efficiency.
  • Support the business by providing appropriate information and documentation to help service the business to fulfil regulatory and commercial obligations.
  • Work with relevant internal teams in the identification of reporting and demonstration of compliance with ESG criteria.
  • Adheres to processes and controls to identify and mitigate risks and ensures timely escalation of control issues and reputation risks.
  • Is aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations. Is cognisant of regulatory risk and strives to mitigate such risk
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards and addresses audit points and/or any issues raised by regulators in a timely manner
  • Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
  • Understand the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, HSBC Asset Management’s TCF philosophy and how this affects your role.  Act in a manner that takes account of these principles to ensure fair outcomes for customers
