To drive the bank's data strategy and maximising the value of its data assets by overseeing all aspects of data and records management.
Accountabilities
- Development and implementation of Barclays Data & Records Management strategy aligned with the bank's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Defining and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Development and implementation of data management systems and technologies.
- Driving a consistent approach for managing and using data across the business.
- Partnering with stakeholders to drive improvements in the understanding, use and quality of data.
Vice President Expectations
- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.

Step into the role of a Data Management and Reporting Lead, where you will build a best-in-class data management and reporting function by leading, planning and remediating high-focus regulatory findings associated to data lineage. You will be evolving the data lineage tooling and operating model to make the creation and maintenance of data lineage more sustainable, as well as work with global business and technology teams to identify data lineage business value streams. If you are an experienced data practitioner who is passionate about discovering new data findings and driving change, this is a perfect role for you.To be successful as Data Governance Lead, you should have experience with:
- Data governance, data controls, data lineage and associated methodologies.
- Experience creating Data Products
- Regulatory reporting experience.
- Working in a regulated environment.
