Department Profile The Anti-Money Laundering Risk (AML Risk) Team is embedded within the Firm's business line. It is responsible for identifying, assessing, and escalating potential money laundering and reputational risk issues associated with higher risk client types. The AML Risk Team is considered the first line of defense and supports the onboarding, enhanced due diligence, and negative news processes for Morgan Stanley. Primary Responsibilities - Review findings reported by QC Manager - Review focuses on associated risk factors, including any factors that increase or mitigate the risk posed by the error documented by the QC Analyst/Manager - Assign final Risk Designation as final step to complete QC review process, prior to distribution of results with internal process stakeholders Qualifications Experience Required: - Minimum undergraduate degree in related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience - Minimum 5 years of experience in financial crimes/AML compliance testing, Audit or similar related QA/QC testing experience at a financial institution
