Job Summary
As a Vice President in Public Relations within the Corporate Communication team, you will develop and execute strategic public relations plans that align with business priorities and the firm’s cultural values. You will ensure brand and messaging consistency, serve as strategic counsel to senior executives, and partner with stakeholders to deliver aligned strategies and messaging
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic public relations plan that supports business priorities and cultural values, including a comprehensive media strategy
- Ensure brand and messaging consistency through impactful content, highlighting innovative initiatives on relevant channels
- Serve as strategic counsel to senior executives and stakeholders on communications-related matters
- Partner with stakeholders across regional, global, business, and corporate function teams to deliver aligned strategies and messaging
- Develop a key messaging framework and curate content for external storytelling against identified goals
- Write high-quality content, including press releases, thought leadership articles, announcements, and executive speeches
- Proactively pitch journalists for earned media coverage in top-tier news outlets.
- Partner with global teams to design and deliver firm-aligned content using digital and multimedia storytelling techniques
- Design and maintain a corporate toolkit and asset library for JPMorganChase Corporate Centers in India
- Design and implement a robust external communication operating framework, processes, and governance across the Corporate Centers in India
- Track and report metrics to analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and inform future plans.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Minimum 15–20 years of work experience, with at least six years in managing public relations for a large global organization.
- Proven strategic leadership with the ability to operate at high business levels while remaining hands-on and team-oriented.
- Excellent judgment, tact and understanding of public messaging.
- Deep media relations and incident management experience with a network of trusted external relationships.
- Strong competencies in traditional, digital, and social channels.
- Proficiency in MS Office for strategic plan articulation, tracking, and reporting.
- Self-driven, motivated, with a strong work ethic and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Can-do, entrepreneurial attitude with speed, agility, and high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects.

- Strong understanding of managing communications in a heavily regulated, highly scrutinized environment, particularly in financial services.
- Ability to execute in high-profile settings and support senior leaders in a global, fast-paced organization.
