Role purpose:
- The Programme Management Office lead has a key role in delivering the Transitions into VOIS and the wider strategic change projects. Specifically the candidate will:
- Govern and hold accountable the progress against VOIS programmes. Offering support/resources to drive milestones, deliverables and activities
- Manage the pipeline of new projects from idea to approval and associated governance and tracking
- Support projects to operate to a standard end to end delivery process (the Control Tower Framework), ensuring requirements and exit criteria for each stage are met
- Own the overall strategic project delivery roadmap, and to work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered to time, cost and quality metrics
- Lead a team of Project Managers/PMO leads who would support the delivery of the largest strategic programmes.
Candidate:
- The candidate should have a deep understanding of programme management methodologies and tools, as well as experience in supplier relationship management and budget management. Additionally, the candidate should have 8+ years of experience in running transformation projects and/or large PMO’s/Transformation offices, ideally with telecoms, technology organisations.
- The candidate should be able to lead and motivate a team, manage stakeholders, and have a can-do attitude. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. The candidate should have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.

Who you are Key performance indicators:
- Project Delivery Performance: Monitor the performance of individual projects within the portfolio in terms of scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Resource Utilization: Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of resource utilization within the change portfolio, including human resources, budget, and other assets.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Track the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the change portfolio, such as lessons learned sessions, process enhancements, and knowledge sharing activities
- Portfolio Alignment with Strategic Objectives: Evaluate the extent to which the change portfolio aligns with the organization's strategic goals and priorities.

- Providing project management leadership and direction to the VOIS transitions leads and wider projects
- Managing key project management tools and processes covering:
- Integrated plan
- Risks management
- Dependency tracking
- Deliverable tracking
- Programme reporting
- Identification and resolution of risks and issues across projects
- Review and QA outputs and documents produced by Project Teams
- Attend and provide input to governance forums
- Own escalation of project delays to Vodafone/VSOL to leadership and key stakeholders
- Provide Supplier with adequate working space, equipment and facilities.
- Promptly notify Supplier (3rd party or internal) of any issues, concerns or disputes with respect to the Services
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Project Management Certification: Ideally possession of a recognized project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) SAFe Portfolio lead
- Ideally Degree Level candidate in a numerical subject
