Reports to: VOIS Head of Corporate Security
Location: Pune/ Bangalore/ Ahmedabad



The incumbent is a critical member of VOIS Corporate Security and will be accountable for ensuring the creation and execution of the following key agenda within VOIS:


  • Governance, compliance and driving the overall framework and fieldwork for Investigations/Speak Ups across VOIS.
  • Manage the Vodafone Case Management System (VCMT) and serve as the primary point of contact to liaise with Group, Global and Location Triage teams, Compliance and Business Integrity.
  • Spearhead investigations with objectivity, thoroughness, and highest level of integrity.  
  • Enhance business value through collaboration/stakeholder buy-in across geographies and working closely with partners and customers where appropriate.
  • Provide strategic and tactical inputs and support other Corporate Security pillar heads.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of investigation reports and KPIs, ensuring timely completion of all follow-up actions and recommendations in the report. 
  • Monitor trends and patterns in investigation data to identify early risk indicators and address potential issues proactively.
  • Be responsible for the workstream related audits, reporting and reviews.
  • Engage with the law enforcement agencies as needed.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 


  • Drive the VOIS Investigations Program consistently and with integrity across all locations in adherence to the Global Policy, procedures and guidelines. 
  • Managing Speak-ups and Internal Control Incidents across VOIS and coordinating with Group Corp Sec, Global and Local Triage and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Oversee the preparation, maintenance and publication of detailed and accurate reports, records, and KPIs for all investigations performed, ensuring timely completion of all follow-up actions & recommendations.
  • Publish qualitative and quantitative metrics on periodic basis for Investigations and drive management reviews at various forums. 
  • Actively support all the pillar heads of Corporate Security, as required.

Key performance indicators:


  • Quality of investigation reports: This KPI pertains to the written investigation report and focuses on its correctness, depth, evidentiary value and preciseness.  
  • Average Case Resolution Time and case closure rate: The average time KPI measures the average time taken to close a case and ensures investigations are conducted efficiently within the expected timeframe. The case Closure Rate KPI measures the percentage of cases closed. It helps in identifying bottlenecks in the investigation process and ensures that cases are resolved promptly.
  • Trend Analysis and Risk Identification: This KPI involves monitoring trends and patterns in investigation data to identify early risk indicators and addresses potential issues proactively.


Core competencies, knowledge and experience:


  • Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with strong analytical skills and risk management experience.
  • Extensive experience of around 15 years in conducting investigations within large-scale organizations, particularly in Service Delivery, ITES, and GCC sectors.
  • Comprehensive awareness and exposure to various Corporate Security workstreams, including Fraud Management, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Business Resilience, and Physical and Infrastructure Security.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of effective stakeholder engagement.


Must have technical / professional qualifications: 


  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Preferably certified as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Payment Card Industry (PCI) professional.
  • Extensive experience or orientation in Corporate Security workstreams, including Fraud Management, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Business Resilience, and Physical and Infrastructure Security.
