As a Vice President in the Deposit Product Development team, you will lead the US Banking Deposit Product team in India. Your responsibility will be to create a strategic product vision and promote its implementation. This will be achieved through understanding the deposit products palette and its economics, its features for clients and advisors, and the technology platform. You will also handle ad-hoc requests from regulators to the day to day business. You will work closely with the Global Head of Deposits, the regional sales leads, and the Deposit Pricing lead, representing the Deposits Practice at various senior forums. Your leadership skills will be essential to lead a team managing team member projects and various stakeholders ranging from technology to Legal, Risk, and Compliance.


Job Responsibilities:


  1. Develop and implement Deposit Product Strategy across the US Private Bank
  2. Develop and execute the product throughout the product lifecycle, including helping define and execute product visio
  3. Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Finance and Business Management, Front Office and Client Service to deliver and improve deposit products and solutions
  4. Assessing and prioritizing feedback from Deposit Sales and other teams
  5. Supporting Agile framework to drive technology agenda
  6. Support day-to-day Product Management, including managing disclosures, preparing training materials and communications for checking, savings, time deposits, other cash products for individuals and businesses
  7. Work across Lines of Business on initiatives impacting deposit clients through other channels and lines of business (e.g. Chase branches, debit card, ATM, Digital)
  8. Partner across lines of business, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Controls on Regulatory initiatives/exams and audits

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  1. 12+ years of financial services experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Asset Management.
  2. Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative senior relationships both internally and with external clients
  3. Advanced skills in Word / PowerPoint / Excel; ability to manage and interpret data, create succinct product & solution recommendations
  4. Desire to own strategic deliverables and ability to act as a team player and agent of change in a dynamic environment along with strong project and program management skills
  5. Analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills based upon fact and business / industry knowledge
  6. Strong organization skills, with a keen ability to prioritize and re-prioritize in real-time
  7. Detailed understanding of the trade lifecycle, from execution through settlement and asset servicing
