Role Description
Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for the service relationship with a vendor on a transactional level and for transactional vendor related support tasks. Work includes:
- Managing or performing strategic sourcing work to manage risk and optimize the value/resilience of materials/services sourcing.
- Establishing supplier relationship management processes and continuous improvement goals/programs
- Negotiating contracts and coordinating supplier integration plans with internal clients
- Monitoring market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing
- Partnering with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels.

Your key responsibilities
The IVMO Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for and acts as a support function to the Business Advisor Manager & Partner with the creation of MI and data extraction and reporting to drive better decision making. Responsible for ensuring business function adherence to bank wide policies and processes. Drives automation & self-service reporting creation. Key Responsibilities includes:
- Support the Business Advisor Manager to develop, determine and execute the IT Domains Vendor & segmentation strategy.
- Responsible for maintaining full data transparency of the IT domains business priorities.
- Responsible for creation of IT Domains contract performance MI
- Partner with the DVMO Vendor centric group and provide business context to the vendor reviews.
- Builds, maintains and leverages strong network and partnerships within the IT Domain and iVMO.
- Work proactively with the Business to ensure process adherence
- Ensure all relevant documents and plans in place to ensure full business and data alignment.
- Managing all Sourcing transactions incl. tracking and reporting
- In addition, be part of a central BAU Business Partner team to ensure, that all Sourcing event transactions will be managed properly
