After a successful expansion last year, we are now looking for a Vendor Management Associate in our Partner Operations division to help our team in achieving the best results and drive the business forward. The Role:
Reporting to the Regional Manager - Partner Operations will be responsible for the growth and performance of our partner base in the market.
Your role will include the following:
- Operational management of Partner facilities in your allocated region. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Ensuring high quality and timely processing.
- Onboarding and offboarding partner facilities.
- Frequently meeting (virtually) our partners to understand their requirements and make sure they are able to follow the set processing guidelines
- Administration tasks
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring inventory is in stock for all allocated partners
- Smoothing out any operational issues with your allocated partners in a timely and professional manner, including crisis and escalation management.
- Coordinate with the onsite associate to ensure all tasks are completed and order management is controlled as per the set deadlines.
- Ensure all partner KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Ensure monthly Partner catch-ups that address the below objectives:
- Customer complaint resolutions
- Order capacity growth and management.
- Payment and conflict resolution
- Quality audits (with the assistance of the onsite team)
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team to improve customer satisfaction.
- Completing weekly performance reviews for newly onboarded Partners to identify any areas of improvement and action on any training needs during the trial period
- Document management, summarising processes, learning, and helping to replicate successful models across international markets where needed.
- Working with internal teams on a series of different projects as required to improve the overall operations and quality of Partnerships.
- Keeping up-to-date and familiar with all departmental operational changes to understand the sourcing requirements.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Must be able to conduct presentations, discussions, and negotiations with international and external stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills, with an understanding of budget restraints.
- Must be comfortable analyzing data sets and must possess the ability to express and present clear logical thinking.
- Must be able to demonstrate creative thought processes for lead generation.
- Must be organized and a self-starter.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably for a start-up.
- Hindi/ Urdu language skills are preferred.
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and process driven.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Should be comfortable multitasking in a high-energy, dynamic environment.
Desired, but not essential:
- Experience with partner acquisition CRMs and/or digital sales.
- Exposure to business intelligence platforms such as Data Studio.
- Experience working in different markets internationally, with strong cultural awareness.
- 3+ years of experience in a high-growth start-up environment.
- Can ideally demonstrate a highly numerate and commercial mindset.
- Exposure to dealing with and negotiating with commercial businesses, ideally in supplier management.
- Experience working in a busy dry cleaning/laundry business.
Work Schedule and Patterns:
- 9-hour shift (8 working hours)
- 5 days a week (2 week-offs based on rota)
- Office-based role
