Strategy:
Realize acquisition of target projects in cooperation with Sales including technical presentations at customers
Monitor and assure profitability of respective projects over lifecycle through change management
Customer Focus:
establish as key contact for customer's Engineering team and maintain close relationship
Build up and develop relationship to relevant technical functions at the customer and support customer engineering to ensure customer satisfaction and to enable long-term sustainable growth
Project Management:
Manage global projects with high complexity and impact to the company according Vibracoustic procedure (APQP/VC ProMap).
Manage RFQ fully independent including all internal and external activities
Take full responsibility for the project results in terms of quality, cost and timing in all phases of the project from RFQ to EOP
Ensure effective communication within the project team - Execute regular project reviews (internal/external) and report on project status
Professional interaction with Top Management to provide management summary of project status
Phase 1:
Lead RFQ phase and support product and process development - Drive RFQ to success
Solve development-related customer concerns (on time, quality, cost)
Translation of customer Spec into internal spec (SOR and DVP)
Align specification with internal departments
Align product concept and production/measurement process/ with customer
Assure successful Feasibility Study of the project
Prepare Baseline of the project after nomination and perform Kickoff.
Support review of contracts and involve relevant departments
Phase 2:
Manage DVP and align internal needs and translate customer spec
Define measurement concept
Support translation of spec to component level
Drive internal proto-design freeze
Get proto design freeze confirmation from customer
Accountability for Prototype production and delivery
Phase 3:
Review DVP results and drive necessary changes to meet the requirements
Get customer design release
Support know how transfer from proto to series (internal and external suppliers)
Phase 4:
Drive GTV (global testing validation)
Execute PVP test, collect and check the reports and communicate to customer
Get customer sign off
Phase 5:
Ensure project launchin serial production on budget
Phase 6:
Support plant for specific production topics (scrap issue, ECR…)
