We're looking for a talented and passionate User Experience Designer be part of shaping the shopping experience for emerging customers. A day in the life
Your day will focus on creating clear, simple solutions for customers to complete these tasks. You'll collaborate with research and product teams to understand customer needs, test designs, and use data to measure success. You'll work with designers across the IES to ensure all features connect smoothly. In this fast-paced environment, you'll split your time between planning future improvements and creating designs. This includes sketching ideas, building prototypes, and refining final designs. From start to launch, you'll use customer feedback and performance data to make shopping on Amazon better.
- 5+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)
- 2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
