University Relations Manager - India
As a University Relations Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for implementing and executing university relations strategies and programs across India to attract and retain top talent from universities and colleges. You will build, collaborate, and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, campus recruiting teams, strategic business group (SBG) Talent Acquisition leaders and university recruiters to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates are targeted for our University Relations (UR) openings. This role is crucial in driving Honeywell's UR talent acquisition efforts and building a diverse and skilled workforce.
You will report directly to our Director of Talent Acquisition, University Relations. You will align in a matrix relationship to our Director of Talent Acquisition, India.
THE BUSINESS UNIT
The Regional University Relations Manager-India is part of the Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) at Honeywell. The CORP SBG is responsible for overseeing corporate-level functions and initiatives that support the overall operations and strategy of the company. As a Regional University Relations Manager, you will collaborate with various business units and SBGs to ensure alignment and coordination in university recruitment efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Develop, analyze, and execute a regional university relations engagement plan across key Honeywell focus schools to attract top talent.
·Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement recruitment programs, internships, co-op opportunities and other university engagement initiatives.
·Own and drive accountability for regional, specific UR talent acquisition responsibilities and goals.
·Work with SBG TA leadership to assist in a seamless effort to collect, validate and compile annual UR hiring demand plans for the region.
·Actively work with SBG TA teams to assist in driving, measuring, and ensuring annual intern conversion goals are achieved for the region.
·Partner with hiring managers, HRGs and business leaders to educate, influence and drive annual intern and co-op conversion efforts.
·Drive intern, co-op and new graduate hiring success through tracking and analyzing university recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of UR programs.
·Build and maintain relationships with key academic institutions, regularly assess the flow of talent to the organization and evaluate ROI.
·Identify and engage with school officials to target high-potential candidates for internships, co-op programs, and full-time positions providing a high-quality student employment experience that promotes Honeywell’s employer brand and value proposition.
·Partner with peer-level regional UR managers in USA and Europe to execute on corporate sponsored internship programming and development activities.
·Drive the partnership with internal Honeywell teams to align on key aspects for region campus recruitment (ex: Communications, Compensation & Benefits)
. Demonstrate a clear understanding of Indian and greater Asia Pacific academic systems and processes related to UR talent acquisition and internship programming within a region.
YOU MUST HAVE
·Minimum of 10+ years of experience in university relations, campus recruitment, or related talent acquisition field.

·Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field
·Experience working in a corporate or global organization
·Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
·Proven track record of successfully attracting and hiring top talent from universities
·Experience collaborating with hiring managers and Human Resource Partners in the university recruiting field
·Strong knowledge of university recruitment strategies and best practices
·Expertise working in university relations efforts across multiple countries and academic systems
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·Ability to build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and key stakeholders’
