Maintain development of a WPF UI library, ensuring seamless integration and transition to Web Components, HTML5 usage with existing C#/.NET desktop applications.
Establish best practices for component performance, accessibility, testability and maintainability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX, UI design, product management, and engineering, to deliver a cohesive design system.
Understand business requirements and technical specifications to ensure that architecture decisions aligned.
Drive alignment with global design system strategies and ensure consistency across various products.
Mentor developers and promote software development best practices within the team.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in web component-based development and WPF.
Strong expertise in Lit, Web Components, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, and basic expertise in C#/.NET for WPF applications.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frame works like Angular, React and Vue.js.
Proven experience in requirements engineering, including creating, documenting, and managing requirements for large-scale systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and design system methodologies.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including requirements analysis, architecture design, and delivery, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Familiarity with version control systems (git), CI/CD pipelines (azure), and agile development processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with common design systems or enterprise-scale platforms.
Strong understanding of requirements traceability and tools for managing system requirements.
Knowledge of Figma and experience in Figma-Dev Mode.
Background in promoting communities and user-centered design practices.
