Role Description
Treasury is responsible for sourcing, management, and optimisation of the Bank’s financial resources. Treasury operates across the globe with major hubs in Frankfurt, London, Singapore, and New York
Treasury Planning & Performance Management oversees the resource and P&L consequences of Treasury’s activities funding the bank as well as open interest rate risk across the group. Within that the Liquidity, Funding and FTP planning team projects the funding and liquidity needs of the firm, the external P&L which Treasury will incur meeting those needs and the internal P&L flows from Funds Transfer Pricing.
The goal of the function is to provide the transparency and drive the dialogue on optimizing balance sheet productivity.

Your key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Forecasting and Planning of the Group’s Liquidity metrics and Funding Plan
- Become the process owner for Liquidity and Funding Plan
- Support the creation of regular MI that translates outputs into meaningful analysis.
- Undertaking “deep dives” on specific areas to provide detailed analysis.
- Preparing materials for various Balance Sheet review meetings
- Partnering with on-desk developer and Finance change to design and develop reporting tools, with a focus on automation.
- Contribute to the wider Treasury agenda in the Mumbai team and act as a catalyst for its growth.
Your skills and experience
- CA / MBA (Finance) with 3-5 years of relevant work experience (Financial Services industry experience preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management; ability to tune approach to role and seniority of communication recipient.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to understand concepts and efficiently assess current processes and make sense of numbers.
- Strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills to translate business concepts/needs into clear management communication and requirements for IT implementation partners.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
