Position:
Group Treasury is a function directly reporting to the CFO. The key responsibilities of the Treasury Department are Cash Management, Financial Risk Management, Financing (external and intercompany), bank account management, and Customer Finance. The Treasury Department needs to anticipate continuously the strong demands and requirements of the whole Vanderlande organization.
The Treasury Back Office Officer reports to and supports the Treasury Back Office Manager in the support of the Treasury Front Office and in working closely with the rest of the Treasury team.
Purpose of the Job (objectives):
The Treasury Back Office Officer is supporting the back-office operations of the treasury department. This includes ensuring efficient processing and settlement of financial transactions (intercompany cash transfers, derivative settlements), maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations as well as supporting the department reporting and analysis and support (on an ad-hoc basis) improvements projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing and Settlement:
Execute the accurate and timely processing of treasury transactions, including foreign exchange, cash and investment transfers and derivatives settlements.
Support to manager in the cash centralization at the highest possible level into central NL facilities.
Support to the settlement of all financial transactions within the specified time frame.
Support the correct deal confirmation in FXall and TMS (Coupa) daily.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
Support to maintain Treasury contracts database (bank accounts, bank T&C’s, ICF)
Support the bank guarantee reconciliation with Coupa, RIVO and banks.
Monitor and report the company’s daily NL bank facilities use positions.
Support to complete the reporting and analysis of Treasury specific management information such as Treasury Monthly Reports, Daily / Ad hoc Treasury specific reports, etc.
Support in maintenance and timely reporting and analysis of bank-related fee guarantee fees, and interest costs reports, interest calculation reports, Bank guarantee reconciliation reports.
Treasury Analysis:
Support Treasury back-office analyses.
Compliance and Risk management:
Support the follow-up of items in the Treasury email box daily (together with Treasury Front Office)
Support the back-office manager/Front Office in the timely performing annual IC Dividend and IC Financing (ICCA) processes; maintaining and monitoring IC overdraft submission during the financial year and taking proactive actions in case of entities close to the limit.
Support the audit and KYC processes of VI entities / banks / other.
System Management:
Support to FSSC and other team regarding issues in Coupa.
