As a key member of Patient Financial Services, the Training and Education Specialist will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating new hire learning solutions for the Diabetes operating unit. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate new hire training programs for all customer facing teams, including classroom training sessions, self-study programs, and print materials.
Develop creative, interactive training tools, quick reference guides, and exercises to increase interest during training and knowledge retention.
Contribute to storyboarding and development of eLearning content and blended learning solutions.
Communicate frequently and effectively with key stakeholders to ensure that training programs are aligned with the goals and objectives of the business.
Develop and administer online testing and post-training evaluations.
Deliver real-time coaching and feedback to trainees and trainees’ supervisors/managers.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree …Business or Accounting major is preferred
5+ years of experience in training and development, instructional design, or a similar role.
Experience in the US healthcare revenue cycle industry is must.
Knowledge of IDX / Centricity and experience with DME products.
Good to Have:
Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills.
Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
Proficiency in e-learning platforms and training software.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs.
Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and ROI.
Knowledge of IDX / Centricity and experience with DME products.
