What you will be doing
The Cloud Engineer is responsible for the implementation of business initiatives across public cloud domains. This is a technical position with understanding of the different services and functionality available within Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud Platform, central to the position. It is expected that the Cloud Engineer can contribute to solution design as well articulate this back to the business with clarity. Designed and/or implemented business solutions will have been considered fit for purpose on several levels notably, cost, requirement, resilience, performance, security and future proofing/improvements. This person would also be key in the distribution of knowledge and skills around cloud services to the wider Technology team/members including Data Science Team. Knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration are expected to support monolithic databases during their transformation.
What you’ll need-
· Understanding in Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
· 0-2 Years of experience
· Understanding in networking and security
· Understanding in relational databases management systems (RDBMS)
· Understanding in data interchange and data serialization languages (JSON, YAML)
· Knowledge or experience in administrating operating systems (Microsoft Windows Server, Linux)
· Knowledge or experience in any coding/scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, SQL)
