Job Summary


As a Trading Services - Operations Analyst within our dynamic Agency Lending Department, you will play a crucial role in managing broker and client reference data. You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, trading desks, and other partners to ensure seamless operations. This role focuses on supporting daily operations by creating and maintaining broker and client reference data. You will thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively within teams and with stakeholders.


Job Responsibilities


  • Process data accurately per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Identify and escalate errors or exceptions promptly.
  • Respond to routine queries and complaints via calls/emails.
  • Maintain audit focus and comply with firm policies and SOPs.
  • Identify and implement process efficiency opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of SOPs and checkpoints.
  • Perform tasks according to department procedures and standards.
  • Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Communicate issues with Managers effectively.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Hold a degree with a strong academic record.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Work effectively under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Quickly grasp and learn new concepts and procedures.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Manage time efficiently and effectively.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Understand Securities Lending and Reference Data processes.
  • Manage Lender & Borrower setups accurately within SLAs.
  • Perform validation tasks to ensure processing accuracy.
  • Resolve discrepancies with counterparties efficiently.
  • Escalate exceptions to Senior Management promptly.
  • Collaborate with Global Operations on the AVATAR platform.
  • Share best practices with team members.
