Job Summary:
As a Trading Services Associate, you will be a in Leadership role within the Agency Lending team in Mumbai and would need to be a key contributor to building the Agency Lending Trade Management utility. As part of this role some of the key responsibilities of role would include the following.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Provide hands on leadership to the Agency Lending Trade Management/Settlements team
- Knowledge of Trade Life Cycle and Settlements will be an added advantage
- Ensure day to day operations are managed within the key operational parameters determined
- Align priorities to the broader business strategy, Communicate and influence behavior upstream and with partners to improve results
- Prioritize and deliver results to achieve business objectives
- Identify issues and escalate as needed, Identify ways to improve processes/procedures to enhance quality and/or productivity, Identify and deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients/customers/stakeholders
- Anticipate and promptly address client/customer/stakeholder needs
- Collaborate across teams to leverage expertise, products and services to meet client/customer/stakeholder needs, Deliver solutions to meet client/customer/stakeholder needs which are aligned with firm priorities
- Drive Performance: Inspires each team member to achieve and sustain high performance, Build a high performing team and enable the team to deliver results

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Candidate should possess strong knowledge of Trade Settlements/ Banking Operations/ Custody business preferably in the Securities Servicing space
- Leadership skills to motivate and bind a team across geographies, Adaptable to change and ability to manage change
- Relationship building with diverse groups and senior executives
- Logical & reasoning ability, People management experience
- Excellent business writing and verbal English communication skills
- Proficient in MS office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook)
- Strong control and quality management skills; accuracy and attention to detail is vital
- Assertive and self-confident, comfortable when interacting with Senior Management
- Excellent coaching skills, Good presentation skills
