PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Manage the complete development cycle of the embedded software for Traction converter following the standard 50128 within the framework of national or international rail projects.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Performance Measurement/KPI’s
Respect of QCD commitments for the software development
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete development cycle of the embedded software for Traction converter with all metier involved (System Engineer, Control Engineer, software Engineer, validation Engineer, safety manager and software quality) in line with project QCD commitments:
- Synchronise and manage metier interface
- Manage software development planning in agreement with project planning
- Ensure commitment on internal milestones and manage critical paths
- Participate software design and quality reviews
- Participate to meeting with customer and RS Site for software development topics
- Accountable for software deliveries
- Insure the reporting to the PrEM for the software development, update project KPI
- Organize and realize the follow-up of activities placed under his responsibility (budget and workloads), following the criteria: Quality, Cost, Delay (QCD)
- Within the framework of the software certifications:
- Participate to the audits with the ISA (Independant Safety Assessor) and PSAM
- Manage open item list
- Work on several projects and manage priorities
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Engineer or equivalent in embedded electronics, embedded software, automation
- Good English oral & written expression

Experience
Mandatory:
- 5 years of experience in software design
- 5 years of experience in the project management on the embedded electronics
- Advanced knowledge in the principles and the methods of software development and the associated tools
