Primary Responsibilities
• Make sure the list of consumables and tools is updated and keeps updating by changing needs.
• Inventory management for tool cribs using the Min-Max list.
• The Min-Max list should be updated in accordance with monthly usage to make sure that a shortage of stock isn't hindering production.
• Efforts to reduce costs for consumables while maintaining quality and taking end users into account.
• Ensure that the procurement plan prevents inventory from rising and non-moving items from being manufactured while also preventing production from ceasing due to a shortage of parts.
• Weekly and monthly consumption patterns should be examined, and any anomalies should be promptly communicated to the user in order to initiate prompt corrective action.
• Material Inbound/Outgoing: Auto stocks will be handled on an hourly basis for both hard and soft copies.
Tool crib inventories must be controlled to ensure that there is no stock fluctuation.
• Test rigs must be kept up to date and fully operational for production.
• The maintenance turnaround time (MTTR) for test rig breakdowns must be under 20 minutes.
• Preventive maintenance for the test rig must be completed by the deadlines, including with calibration assistance.
• Seek input from end users regarding the quality of the parts before selecting a vendor for procurement.
• Machine shop inserts/tools must be procured from authorized dealers
