We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tester to join our Magnati team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for our digital products and applications. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for digital products and applications.
Testing Types: Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
Automation: Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Defect Management: Document and track defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
Agile Participation: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of the Agile development process.
Usability Testing: Perform usability testing to ensure the application meets user experience standards and provides a seamless experience.
Continuous Improvement: Provide inputs for continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Industry Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Testing Tools: Proficient in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Issue Tracking: Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with automated testing practices and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
Performance Testing: Understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects and suggest improvements.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure quality and thorough testing.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
