Job Description

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Owns the test design, test development, test automation and test execution of multiple features and components of the application.
• Work closely with product managers and developers to understand the product roadmap and product specifications to help determine the right test strategy.
• Performs functional, integration and regression testing on APIs, micro services, Lambda, S3, Kinesis Data Streams, Gateways, EventBridge.
• Evaluate system performance, reproduce issues and work with development team to resolve identified problems.
• Collaborates effectively with peers and management to improve the quality of the application and the testing process.

Qualifications

5 to 8 years of professional experience as QA Engineer.

• 4+ years of SQL, XML/JSON, API
• 3 years of experience in using Cucumber or Similar BDD tools
• Some programming and/or scripting:  Java, PHP, Python, Perl, Bash/Shell, or other
• Some experience with continuous integration tools: Hudson/Jenkins/Bamboo
• Experience working with agile methodology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
