Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics)
Experience: Min. 4 yrs of relevant working experience.
- LV switchgear products ? Knowledge about relevant national, international & regional standards, Product application, Design
& Testing requirement.
- Practical experience in Product Development, Testing & evaluation of LV switchgear products.
- Competency in tools & methods used for product development, product testing & evaluation.
Main Function:
Development of LV Switchgears:
? Dimensioning of functional elements from Electrical & Electronics point of view by conducting Development tests, Type Tests
& test data analysis.
Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Conducting of Type testing & Development testing of LV switchgears.
- Analysis of test data & deriving corrective measures (Product improvement, Cost optimization ideas, Sustainability aspects
etc)
- Documentation of test results & analysis.
- Planning & upgrading test & measurement facilities for the products as needed.
- Follow & maintain processes in accordance with ISO9001, EHS & ISO17025 / NABL
Knowledge:
- Basic International standard of Low voltage switchgear products viz IEC 60947, IEC 60898, IEC 61008, IEC 61009, IEC
60269.
- Hands on experience with Test, Measurement & Recording system viz. Scope meters, Data loggers, PC & PLC based
systems etc.
- Switching technology / Protection technology with integrated electronics in LV switchgears preferred
- Driving digitalization initiatives
- Good understanding of basic Physics & Mathematics.
- Good understanding of electronics – Analog / Mixed signal circuits, Micro-controller / DSP and CPLD / FPGA based digital
control system, Firmware development in assembly & C language (for microcontroller / DSP), VHDL / Verilog (for CPLD /
FPGA) and familiarity with tools and IDEs used for development. Design of AC-DC, DC-DC converters and power supplies.
PCB design. Prototype building, testing and de-bugging.
- IT Network, IOT
- Good analytical ability, technical & 3D imagination.
- Good English speaking.
