GENERAL SCOPE
Manages an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A Sales Service Professional’s sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility.

Moderate understanding of general job aspects and superficial understanding of the technical phases of the job.
JOB COMPLEXITY
Performs routine, repetitive, and basic tasks where precedent, methods and processes are well established. Makes simple decisions, but refers most to more experienced personnel.

Impact to overall activity is minimal. Errors do not normally have major effect on overall organization.
Ability to put subject knowledge to use. Basic Knowledge of Chemistry and water related.
Abilty to dissect a process into parts and look at them individually to make a whole. Ability to grasp a new process.
To develop business in the Dairy segment through cold calls to generate interest in the customer, understand customer needs, have the proposal made and execute the cleaning solutions to meet the customer needs so as to generate additional business to Diversey. Abilty to demonstrate value proposition and close the sale.
Development and delivering of presentations and proposals.
Sound understanding of the commercial environment and efficiently manage distributors.
Build sustainable and mutually beneficial customer relationships.
Ability to work in a team.
Maintaining the basic sales function of the territory. Maintain & maximise the sales with the customer group. Timely collection of payments. Continous opportunity spotting and move to close these on a regular basis.
Carrying out performance /prove- in trials.
Basic customer service by providing technical support to the customer. Problem solving during performance issues.
Maintaining regular service visits /reports.
Maintaining a positive customer perception for Diversey. Owner of the customer account within Diversey in all aspects.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the customer's processes and their Cleaning & Hygiene needs.
