Business Development & Sales Strategy
Identify and develop new business opportunities for specialty lubricants in the Wind Energy and Bearing Industry across South India.
Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, industry events, and digital platforms.
Conduct thorough market research to assess industry trends, competition, and customer needs.
Customer Relationship Management & Technical Consultation
Engage with key decision-makers, OEMs, and end-users to build and strengthen long-term relationships.
Conduct technical discussions and recommend suitable lubricant solutions based on customers' operational requirements.
Demonstrate the value proposition of Klüber Lubrication products by showcasing their technical benefits and cost savings potential.
Address customer concerns, handle objections, and provide prompt solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Channel Management & Sales Operations
Develop and manage sales through channel partners to optimize coverage and service efficiency.
Work closely with sales support and planning teams to ensure product availability and smooth order fulfillment.
Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Capture customer visits, sales opportunities, and relevant reports in the CRM tool for tracking and forecasting.
Market Intelligence & Competition Benchmarking
Analyze competitive products and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Provide inputs for product improvement and new product development based on customer feedback and market research.
Participate in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and technical conferences to enhance brand visibility and knowledge-sharing.
Compliance & Collaboration
Ensure adherence to company policies, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with internal teams, including technical, R&D, and marketing, to drive business growth.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
2+ years of relevant sales or application engineering experience in industrial lubricants, automotive, bearings, or wind energy sector.
Experience in managing sales through channel partners and direct B2B sales.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / automotive engineering or related technical field.
MBA in Marketing / Sales (preferred).
Ability to travel extensively across South India and nationally as required.
Hands-on experience with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
