Technology Strategy Manager

We are looking for a Lead in Tech Strategy Execution & Governance to join our team at the Chubb Engineering Centre in India. As the Head of Technology Strategy Delivery at Chubb, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the technology strategy for our organization. This senior leadership position seeks an individual who possesses a deep understanding of technology and its impact on business operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering strategic initiatives in a consulting or industry role, coupled with global exposure. Reporting to the Head of Engineering Center/s and Head of Technology Strategy, you will be responsible for driving the execution of key technology initiatives globally, aligning them with Chubb's overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Technology Strategy: Collaborate with the Head of Technology Strategy to refine and execute the technology strategy for Chubb, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. 
  • Develop and manage strategic and functional Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the Chubb Engineering Centre and the broader technology organization.
  • Define roadmaps to achieve the target state, covering infrastructure, platform, application, data, and process aspects.

• Drive Innovation: Identify and assess emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance business processes and support Chubb's growth objectives.

• Stakeholder Engagement and Management: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencing and communicating effectively with senior leadership, business partners, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Collaboration and Alignment: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology initiatives, sharing insights and knowledge for efficient execution.

• Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and evaluate existing technology delivery processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to drive operational excellence.

• Industry Best Practices: Identify and perform research and analysis on opportunities that support Chubb's technology initiatives and develop business cases.Stay up-to-date with the technological landscape and ensure alignment with Chubb's priorities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology strategy, consulting, or a related field, with a focus on delivering large-scale initiatives.
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity and complexity, making data-driven decisions to deliver successful outcomes.

• Proven experience in managing teams and driving project delivery across multiple regions or countries.

• Experience in building business cases and delivering compelling presentations.

• Experience in Management Consulting is a strongly valued

• Knowledge of the insurance industry is valued, but not required.

• Strong understanding of technology trends, digital transformation, and experience driving technology innovation.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with technology architecture frameworks.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies and their application in enterprise architecture.

• Knowledge of data management and governance best practices.
