Technical SME - Enablement (Platform – Core & client)
The Opportunity

Our Technical Enablement team is looking for a Technical SME to build the learning experience based on technical knowledge and proficiency. The ideal candidate should be a technical guide specialized in discrete parts of the Commvault Cloud suite of products, possessing a comprehensive understanding of the technical intricacies, functionalities, and rationale behind them. Stay up-to-date on any developments within your product domain, and be an enthusiast for both the Commvault Cloud software and SaaS sides of your portfolio. Additionally, the candidate should excel at translating complex technical concepts into persona-appropriate content. Highly diligent, the ideal candidate loves to work as a team, takes direction well, and is eager to bring strategic and creative solutions to every project.
 


What you'll do.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to develop content for specific Cyber Resilience product and technology domains.
  • Create strawman/draft training content scripts and proper tagging following approved taxonomy, to meet the requirements of the product/technology and align with the expected learning outcomes for technical personas.
  • Build product demonstration and how-to multi-media content with scripts tailored to address technical use-cases.
  • Conduct on-camera recordings and conduct virtual technology training sessions as the need arises for various technical user groups.
  • Design, build and maintain hands-on labs and simulations for Support, Customers and Partner technical enablement training on Commvault solutions, services, and technology areas.
  • Collaborate with strategy and productivity team to find opportunities for product and technology enhancements, and updating all relevant training content (including tagging) to align with release cycles and GTM timelines.
  • Act as the primary advocate for specific product and technology domains to ensure multi-functional alignment and deliver on customer success goals.
  • Product guide with the ability to research, outline, create and deliver deep-dive technical trainings for various technical personas.
  • Mentor and guide technical content creators in the build and deployment of technical training content that is engaging for end users and technically accurate.
     
Who you are?
  • Expert in Commvault product/technology areas such as Backup & Recovery, Virtualization, Cloud, HSX, Client/Server, SaaS.
  • Proficient in working in data centers with server-based technologies (Windows and/or Unix)
  • Tier 2 technical support for Commvault products or similar experience highly conducive
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications and content creation applications, such as Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, or similar software
  • Proven capability in designing training for different modalities (live classroom, virtual, training, eLearning)
  • 3-5 years of experience with Commvault software with proven technical training capabilities.
  • Total year of experience up to 5 years in the data protection, cyber recovery industry.
