MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Provideaccurateandtimelytechnicalinformation,advice,andassistanceregardingtheorganization'sproductsandservicesbefore,during,andafteratransactiontomaintainandimprovetheorganization'scustomerrelationships.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicatewithcustomersandclients(viaemail,phone,oronlinediscussionboards)toanswertheirenquiries,understandtheirtechnicalquestion,assesstheirneeds,andsuggestorpromotealternativeproductsorservices(forexampleIThardwareandsoftwareproducts,financialservices,healthservices).
Applyestablishedproceduresordevelopnewsolutionstosolvetechnicalproblemsthroughcasemanagementandfollow-uponthestatusofoutstandingcases.
Usedatabasesorothercomputerizedsystemstomaintainup-to-datecustomerrecords,totrackthevolume,contentandoutcomesofenquiriesreceived,andtoaccessinformation,checklists,scripts,guidelines,andothermaterialsforrespondingtothecustomer’senquiry.
