Role Description
- Transformation of Oracle databases from (nearly) outdated, heterogeneous environments / platforms to the new strategic database platform of Deutsche Bank. This is a multi-year initiative which includes the transformation of banks Oracle workload to ExaCC environment.
- The Technical Project Manager will support the ongoing transformation of existing On-Prem oracle database to ExaCC environment with the help of team of in-house and vendor DBA.

Your key responsibilities
- Technical project manager will be responsible for migrating Oracle On-Prem Database to Oracle Cloud@Customer environment.
- Cordinate with engineering, Operation team and multiple vendors to ensure migration is completed successfully.
- Leading technical discussion and helping the DBA’s to ensure successful migrations.
- Connecting with various ITAO and application contact to understand the requirement and help them in journey to migrate to Oracle Cloud@Customer environment.
Your skills and experience
- Professional Project Management skills, especially by using agile approaches (Confluence, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- 10 -12 years relevant experience as Oracle DBA with project management skills within the IT support industry, experience in financial industry preferred.
- Knowledge in transforming huge Banking IT infrastructure (preferred databases) to a new hardware & software stack
- Expertise of ServiceNow, creation & tracking of changes
- Strong communication skills (coordination of multiple application ITAOs as well as infrastructure providers)
- Experience in a multi-national & multi-provider project
- Technical expertise in Oracle database administration.
- Knowledge of Unix operating system concepts.
- Experience in decommissioning of database and hardware assets.
- Understanding of multitenant CDB/PDB concepts.
- Good understanding of Unix OS concepts specifically Linux.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
- Knowledge of change management process
