The Eli Lilly and Company Capability Center, India (LCCI) is expanding our Tech@Lilly team as part of LCCI’s broader IT strategy, to support current and future application development needs across the enterprise. LCCI is looking for team leaders across diverse areas of the Tech@Lilly organization including Business Units, manufacturing, supply chain, Clinical Development, data platforms, analytics, infrastructure, sales and marketing, research and development, and information security.

The Tech@Lilly Leader will manage resources dedicated to specific projects, where a sustained backlog allows for the utilization of consistent resources. This role will also provide a pool of resources supporting application development projects across. This will enable Lilly to leverage modern technology to solve complex business problems. The primary objectives for a Program Manager is to provide business understanding, technical leadership and may involve people management as needed to ensure that LCCI T@L is strongly positioned to operate in a self-sufficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Highly motivated Individual and results-driven Program Manager to lead and drive strategic AI initiatives within BU-T@L (Sales & Marketing Data Intelligence Team). This role is crucial for driving AI-powered and Automation projects to be delivered with agility and speed, ensuring that they align with business goals and deliver high-quality results. As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of AI-related projects, ensuring that deliverables align with business goals. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including T@L and GOSO business area leaders, architects, project managers, designers and other developers
• Define and execute the AI strategy, ensuring tight alignment with business goals, while prioritizing projects that will provide the most impactful outcomes.
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of AI programs, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered with speed, agility, and quality, under tight timelines. Lead the execution of multiple AI projects in parallel, ensuring timely and quality delivery despite aggressive deadlines.
• Partner closely with Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, and Business teams to define requirements and deliver solutions rapidly
• Foster a culture of overcommunication, ensure all stakeholders are consistently updated on project status, milestones, risks, and bottlenecks. Own and communicate program-level milestones, ensuring full transparency on project timelines and deliverables
• Anticipate and manage risks, making data-driven decisions to navigate challenges and keep the program on schedule.
• Employ a “fail-fast” approach, identify and address risks early to avoid delays and ensure projects stay within their designated timelines.
• Provide deep leadership and coaching in the project delivery lifecycle. Focus on shared learning, continuous improvement, and drive adoption of best practices
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, teamwork and people development, Provide mentorship to accelerate the development of solution architecture and technical expertise for T@L environment and  understand the business processes being supported by the team
• Organize your work within an Agile team & Knowledge on Sprint ceremonies (Planning, Estimation, Execution, Reporting & highlight Risks & Impediments)
• Experience leading development teams in major cloud technology modernization initiatives and programs, esp. in AWS Cloud and AI initiatives
• Experience leading highly motivated engineers, with specialized skills and diverse functional elements.

Required Experience:

• 10 years of  IT experience with minimum 3 years of management of a team or teams, should be able to lead a team of around 8 to 12 people

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, solutions, and trends, with the ability to move quickly and adapt to fast-changing environments.

• Lead teams to rationalize, optimize and support applications for maximum speed and scalability with industry best practices.

• Proven experience leading a team in a regulated industry including but not limited to, understanding regulations, SOPs, computer systems validation, and change control.

• Preferred to have experience / interest related to Pharma domain
