Position Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with a strong technical background and experience in Mobile/Web development, SDK development to join our product team. As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our SDKs. You will work closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams along with the developer community to ensure the successful development, launch, adoption, and improvements of our SDKs in the market.


Our Product Managers are expected to be natural evangelists, great salesmen, storytellers, and strong influencers, able to effectively connect with both internal and external executive stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities


  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap for our device SDKs (Web, mobile, TV, Wearable), ensuring alignment with our overall product strategy and business goals


  • Develop tech and product requirements, design specifications, go-to-market plans, and partner communication strategies for key features


  • Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute the development of SDK features, enhancements, and bug fixes


  • Work with App Developers and the community at large to improve MoEngage SDKs - Reduce integration time, improve performance, augment governance, etc.


  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions and continuously improve our SDK offerings


  • Monitor key performance metrics and competitive trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation


  • Create and maintain product documentation, including technical specifications, supported platform matrix, user guides, and release notes


  • Support in building industry leadership beyond features - Conferences, Webinars, Thought leadership articles


Requirements


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field


  • 2+ years of Product Management experience managing products for the developer community with 3+ years of prior experience working as a software engineer or developer in mobile development or mobile SDK development with an understanding of frameworks like Android, iOS, Flutter, React Native, etc.


  • Strong technical background with the ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand complex technical concepts


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making


  • Proven track record of delivering successful products to the market and leading cross-functional projects including technical leads, software developers, designers, support engineers, and operations teams


  • Familiarity with the Adtech/Martech ecosystem, including industry standards, regulations, and best practices (Not mandatory but good to have)
