Technical Marketing Engineer II

We are looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer to join our Technical Marketing team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the manager of Technical Marketing. In this role, you will create technical collateral, support the field with customer engagements and proofs of concept, test and evaluate competitive products, and conduct technical training. You will collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering to ensure the continuous superiority of Infoblox technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical marketing professional to join a fast-moving product team charged with defining and launching next-generation products and solutions. This role also provides enormous technical training opportunities and career growth.

What you’ll do:

• Master security products and their technical details
• Stay updated on industry trends, threats, and technologies
• Create technical marketing content, including whitepapers and case studies
• Conduct customer and partner training sessions and webinars
• Design tailored security solutions for customers
• Ensure smooth lab operations and troubleshoot technical issues
• Optimize virtual environments using VMWare tools
• Administer Ubuntu Linux systems and develop automation scripts
• Configure and manage networking and security settings, including firewalls and VPNs
• Align Technical Marketing with business goals and support pre-sales activities 

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in security and networking within a lab
• Solid network security experience, including firewalls and VPNs
• Expertise in VMWare virtual environments
• Proficient in scripting, including bash, Python, and PowerShell
• Experience in technical marketing and product research
• Skilled in Linux/UNIX administration with a focus on security
• Experience in storage solutions and infrastructure management
• Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNA, and VMware VCP

What success looks like:

After six months, you will…

• Efficiently manage lab operations with strong security
• Produce effective Technical Marketing materials
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams

After about a year, you will…

• Optimize lab infrastructure and security product positioning
• Lead initiatives to enhance lab operations and security
• Be a trusted technical expert and advisor
