Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

Position Title: Network, System and Cloud Architect

REPORTING TO:  IT Infrastructure Director, ITISC FET Europe

GEOGRAPHICAL REPORTING LOCATION:    India

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India      

OVERALL OBJECTIVES:              

You will join an international crew to work on the design, improvement, and optimization of recently deployed IT infrastructure such as Local Network, SDWAN, Firewall, Cloud infrastructure (Azure). Your role will be to take in charge requests or project for Architecture Infrastructure evolution (network, systems, cloud, migration, etc.), with a specialty for network activities. A technical background in Network, Systems and cloud is expected, good communication skills is also required to allow collaboration and coordination with partners, Internal or external SME, Vendors, etc.in order to achieve your projects

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:

• Design, plan and implement network IT Infrastructure for Azure Landing Zone and physical sites
• Create, lead, or contribute to creation of Blueprints, Diagrams, Standards, and Instructions
• Maintain an active relationship with key Partners or Vendors (Network)
• Propose and deliver solutions that best meet the business needs in terms of security, cost, and bandwidth.
• Work close with Server, Cloud, Application engineers and architects do deliver the IT Infrastructure as wider project. Act based on the end-to-end view of the infrastructure.
• Run Hands-on proof of concept activities of the proposed solutions.
• Support Network Operation Teams in most complex outage troubleshooting directly or via Vendors
• Support systems teams with the evolution of technology, new needs, specific projects.
• Own, develop and maintain the network lab together with network teams
• Document the solutions delivered and follow the evolution.
• Follow life cycle of some technology or product.
• Experience in designing and delivering new network standard into current production environment
• Enforce network security as per group security direction

REQUIRED SKILLS:

An ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10+ years of experience in most of the following areas:

• Experience in technical role such as network or system engineers or architect.
• Experience in technical infrastructure project management.
• Used to work on architecture topics (or deep technical topics)
• Experience with Cloud (Azure)
• Experience in cloud networking and onsite network.
• Implement network security measures and ensure compliance with internal security rules.
• Network infrastructure design and migration experience.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting network in Enterprise company.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong communication & presentation skills to communicate with technical teams, Vendors, and management of all levels.
• Ability to communicate in non-technical business language explaining complex things in simple manner.
• A collaborative team player mindset and the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams while having good fun.

Any of below skills would provide a significant advantage:

• Strong Knowledge of Fortinet Stack – FortiGate, FortiSwitch, SSL VPN, SDWAN, FortiAP, FortiManager;
• Familiarity with Next Generation Firewalls (Checkpoint);
• Familiarity with CISCO switches;
• Familiarity FortiAnalyzer;
• Knowledge of static routing;
• Cisco CCNP-level certification;
• Proficiency in various protocols: TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, iBGP, 802.1Q, STP, SSLVPN;
• Advanced Fortinet certifications / training (NSE5, NSE7);
• A proven track record of designing and implementing LAN/WAN/SD-WAN network infrastructure during acquisitions, transitions, and enterprise-level delivery;
• Experience with protocols such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and HTTP;
• Understanding of VOIP (Voice over IP) technologies;
• Proficiency in Quality of Service (QoS) implementation;
• Experience in network monitoring;
• Knowledge of load balancing techniques;
• Previous experience in complex network and or Systems migrations;
• Expertise in Cloud Networking, (Azure / AWS)
• Experience in ticketing tool - ServiceNow
