They may be required to provide detailed technical support for developers producing bug fixes & new releases of these applications. Must be self-motivating with the ability to prioritize workload. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and handle CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins.Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible and Terraform.Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms like EKS and AKS.Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through tools like DataDog.Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.Implement and run cloud infrastructure on AWS.Ensure security and compliance by implementing best practices and conducting regular audits.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the development, testing, and production environments.Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and learning.Proof of concept (POC) and onboarding activities for new tools and technologies.Technical documentation preparation (SAD), compliance related documentation and approvals process related activities.Create user guides, confluence documentation and conduct user trainings.Provide Technical leadership to the SC Devops and support Agile and Scrum implementation.Maintain working relationship with development team, business teams and business management.Staff oversightNo budget responsibility.Key Tools and TechnologiesDevOps Tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform,Cloud Technologies: AWSContainerization and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKSMonitoring and Logging: DataDogScripting Languages: Python, Bash, ShellPersonal AttributesProactive and self-driven with a passion for continuous improvement.Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.Experience and Qualifications RequiredBachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.Required hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud Technologies.Preferable to have hands on experience in on-prem to Cloud migration.Having previously worked on Murex will be an added advantage.Must have a good SQL knowledge (PL SQL and query optimization is a plus)Hands on industry renowned CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins etc (Gitlab preferable)Knowledge in Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab pipelines, yaml is preferrable.Basic or midrange scripting knowledge (Shell scripting, PowerShell) is preferable.Hands on experience in Python is an added advantage.Hands on experience / know how of cloud technologies (AWS is preferable).Experience in Scrum and Agile practices.Knowledge on scheduling tools like Control-M is an advantageTechnical experience as a Devops Lead(min 5 years)Good communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.Willing to adopt Hybrid working mode and work in Bangalore Office.Experience in Financial or an investment banking environment.Familiarity with financial products and financial terms.Excellent analytical skills, Attention to Detail and problem-solving abilities.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to IT and business teams and to senior management.Strong negotiation / influencing skills able to overcome resistance and reach consensus and compromise to attain the required objective.LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
