The team works within the America’s Application Solutions Centre to design, deliver and support software solutions that support the Enterprise Risk Management function globally. The team is responsible for several applications – both internally developed and third-party products – with a heavy focus on the internally developed .NET applications. There is a substantial pipeline of work, including market-wide initiatives, Security focused transformation and major cloud migrations.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
·CODE: able to code across full stack, front end, API, backend, and DB.
·Collaborate with developers on other teams, internal and external, onshore, and offshore.
·Assists to maintain development standards for design, coding, etc.
·Technically leads other developers, including assignment of work.
·Estimate work requests at various levels of confidence.
·Assist with the creation of operational guidelines.
·Assist with technical analysis of solution design.
·Perform design activities in collaboration with the Technical Architect.
·Assists to maintain development standards for design, coding, etc. Support resolution of defects during application testing phases.
·Estimate work requests at various levels of confidence.
·May serve as a member of a Major Incident Team.
·May perform Application Developer duties.
·Identify, propose process improvements to enhance corporate finance applications support to promote Make-It-Better.

Required Skills and Abilities:
·Relevant years of hands-on development experience in Wcf service, Webapi, .net core, .net framework, Window applications, Web applications ASP.NET & MVC, Window services, Angular, JavaScript, html, C#, VB.net and SQL Server
·Experience with developing apps in Cloud Technology - Azure Services is essential Web Apps, Web Jobs, Queuing framework etc.
·Effective knowledge of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of the user experience.
·Ability to work constructively in a team environment as well as resiliently.
·Experience with of Agile, SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps processes.
·Experience working in a geographically distributed project team preferred.
·Must possess good interpersonal skills, team-oriented, technically motivated, and creative, user oriented, self-driven with a desire to learn AXA XL's business.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
·P&C Insurance/ Enterprise Risk Management industry experience.
