Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about the role-
This is the role of a Front-End Technology SME (Subject Matter Expert) who needs to train software engineers in PayPal. This person should have software development experience and should have handled large corporate trainings on Front-End technologies. This person should be equipped to prepare content & have experience to deliver the training in both live and virtual environment. Should be an excellent team player and able to work with all ranges of experienced folks within the team and outside

We are the Enterprise Learning & Development Team responsible globally for developing and enhancing the technical skills of every engineer in the organization. Our team is spread across AMER & APAC and our team consists of Trainers, Instructional Designers, Technical Writers, Program Managers and Training coordinators. We deliver high impact technology programs working very closely with the business and teaching our technologists how the technology works here at PayPal. As a SME, you will be training not only new joiners but also our engineers who are upskilling or cross-skilling their skills.

Job Description:

Your way to impact-

• Since, your role is that of a Technical SME, you have a very critical role in the organization. Every course you prepare will be in consensus with the business, you need to understand how the technology works in PayPal and teach our engineers the application of the technology.
• You will also have an opportunity to learn and deliver internal PayPal tools and Frameworks.
• You will also work closely with PayPal use cases. In other words, you not only influence the business, but you are also part of the larger business eco-system.

Your day to day-

• You are expected to deliver 10-12 days of training as per the technology needs in the organization.
• You are responsible to prepare unique content for your delivery and ensure that no content is illegally prepared.
• You are expected to work very closely with the Program Managers who will connect you with the business to under the usage of technology.
• You are also expected to work closely with the Global learning (internal) team. Since this is a global team, there is no fixed time for work, and you are expected to deliver training and attend meetings with teams in AMER.

What do you need to bring-

• Graduate / Postgraduate on Computer Science with proven. Expertise in delivering training on JavaScript, React.js, React Native, Node.js, and Spring Boot.
• ​Should have both development & training experience in the mentioned technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies; familiarity with SDLC processes. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is also an advantage.
• Exposure to Mobile technologies is good to have
