We are seeking a talented Technical Content Writer with at least 3 years' experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a knack for breaking down complex concepts into clear, engaging content. As a Technical Content Writer, you will play a key role in creating high-quality documentation, articles, blog posts, and other technical materials to support our products and services.
Responsibilities:
• Research, write, edit, and proofread technical content, including user manuals, product guides, API documentation, white papers, case studies, and blog posts.
• Disseminate technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience.
• Help other writers in creating documentation.
• Ability to take existing and potential content and improve it.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, and other team members to gather information and ensure technical accuracy and clarity of content.
• Translate technical jargon into easy-to-understand language for various audiences, including customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
• Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user experience (UX), including keyword research and metadata optimization.
• Contribute to content strategy and planning, including content calendars, topic ideation, and content promotion strategies.
• Maintain and update existing content to reflect product updates, changes, and improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in English/Communications/Journalism/Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven 3 years' experience as a technical writer, content writer, or similar role, preferably in the technology industry.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Markdown, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and publishing platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating technical expertise and versatility is required
