We are seeking an experienced telecommunications professional to join our team as Technical Consultant (Telecom). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with specific expertise in 5G technology, Radio Access Networks (RAN), OSS/BSS, and cloud computing, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS). The candidate should have experience designing, and supporting critical customer Telco infrastructure on-premise and cloud
Key job responsibilities
• Design, implement, and optimize 5G Core network solutions on AWS
• Develop and maintain RAN infrastructure to support 5G deployments on AWS
• Integrate and manage OSS/BSS systems for efficient network operations
• Architect and deploy telecom solutions on AWS cloud platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom and cloud technologies based on customer requirements
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the telecom stack and cloud infrastructure
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in telecommunications and cloud computing Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
• Proven experience with 5G Core network technologies and protocols
• In-depth knowledge of RAN architecture and implementation
• Hands-on experience with OSS/BSS systems and their integration
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/professional, Cisco CCNA Wireless) are a plus.

A typical day for a technical consultant supporting telco workloads on AWS cloud is diverse and fast-paced. The consultant engages in various activities, including customer calls to discuss 5G core deployments, troubleshooting network latency problems, and designing hybrid cloud solutions for OSS/BSS systems. They leverage their expertise in both telecom and cloud technologies to solve complex challenges and drive customer success. The consultant understands and documents customer's business-critical Telco workloads on AWS, and recommends architectural guidance to improve resilience and security. The consultant will socialize AWS Telco support solutions to improve workload availability and resilience. They also conduct technical training sessions, participate in project planning meetings, and stay updated on the latest AWS services relevant to telco customers.

- 5+ years of technical engineering experience
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
- Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
