Your Role and Responsibilities Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the security department. Stay current on security industry trends and best practices and make recommendations to senior management on how to improve the company’s overall security posture. Supervise security personnel and provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge. Stay current on security industry trends and best practices and make recommendations to senior management on how to improve the company’s overall security posture. Maintain positive relationships with local law enforcement agencies and emergency response teams
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing security operations, including 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of security best practices, regulations, and laws.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the protection of company assets, employees, and customers
Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures to mitigate identified risks
Manage security budgets and equipment, and ensure the department is equipped with the necessary resources to effectively carry out its responsibilities. Certificates, CISSP, CISM
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including employees, customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and security management software.
